Sweet and Smoky Barbecued Meatballs
- 4 slices uncooked bacon, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 (9.5 oz.) jar Santa Cruz Organic® Blackberry Pomegranate Fruit Spread
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2/3 cup True Made Foods Pitmaster BBQ Sauce
- 2 (11 oz.) packages frozen fully-cooked beef bite-size meatballs (about 44 (1/2 oz.) meatballs)
- Step 1
COOK bacon in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until almost crisp.
- Step 2
STIR in onion. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Step 3
STIR in fruit spread, water and BBQ sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Step 4
ADD meatballs, stirring to coat. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are heated through.
